Christmas, so far, is going better than Thanksgiving. Which is to say, no one's punched any walls and no one's threatening to leave and no one's crying. At least not yet, the day isn't over. And Shannon's celebrating with her family, if by family you mean Boone, and if by celebrating you mean sprawling in his chair.

Whatever. It's the thought that counts, right?

If you're looking for Shannon, she's in her room watching the end of a cheesy Thanksgiving special play out on televison. Shouldn't she be spending the holiday with (what remains of) her family, you ask? Yeah, she already tried that. It didn't really work.

Shannon is curled up in her bed, asleep. Actually, it isn't technically her bed, it's her brother's. But she's been spending enough time in it that it may as well be hers.

Whatever the case may be, she'll make a lovely welcome home present if when he comes back.

This, Shannon decides, has gone on long enough. If he isn't going to end this, she is going to make him.

She checks herself in the mirror one last time, as though getting ready to leave for a date, and then sashays out the door and off to his room.
